Barack Obama breaks record for most liked tweet ever
Following the violent and racially charged protests in Charlottesville, that took place on Saturday 10 of this month. In a response tweet, former President Barack Obama has made history again. This time around, the mark has been made inside the twitter universe. President Obama’s tweet condemning the violence has become the most liked tweet in history and the fourth most retweeted. This tweet might also become the most retweeted as well as the statistics keep changing. The tweet moved from 3.5M likes yesterday to 4.1M now (at the time of writing). See live tweet;

Twitter Inc. declared the tweet the most liked in history at 10:07 p.m. Eastern on Aug. 15, according to a Twitter spokeswoman. As of late Wednesday in New York, the tweet had garnered 3.8 million likes, 1.47 million retweets and 59,000 replies.
